I am an Assistant Professor in the Accounting & Management Control Department at HEC Paris and a Research Fellow of TRR 266 Accounting for Transparency.
In my research, I investigate the impact of reporting and financial regulations on economic activity, focusing particularly on financial intermediaries. My current research examines how bank regulation affects bank investments and spills over to the real economy. Apart from that, I am also interested in topics related to ESG and corporate governance.
I obtained my PhD as well as my Bachelor's and Master's degrees from the University of Mannheim, Germany. During my studies, I spent one year at Columbia Business School as visiting PhD student, which was supported by a Fulbright Schuman scholarship. Prior to starting the PhD program, I worked in the asset management industry for two years.Â
